Final Exam Review - Semester 1
Chapter 1:
Know & be able to use Order of Operations correctly.
Review Real Number Properties.
Analyze the graph of a function (increasing/decreasing, positive/negative, end behavior, extrema, intercepts)
Determine whether a relation is a function (each input has exactly one output/vertical line test).
Calculate the value of a function.
Chapter 2:
Solve equations by isolating the variable using inverse (opposite) operations.
Chapter 5:
Solve & graph inequalities using inverse (opposite) operations.
Reminder: When multiplying or dividing by a negative number, the direction of the inequality sign must be changed!
Chapter 3:
Calculate x and y intercepts.
Calculate slope and rate of change (graph, points, equation).
Find missing coordinate given slope.
Examine an equation, determine if it is linear, and if so, put it in standard form.
Graph a linear equation using a table or intercepts.
